Heeling is VERY well done, young lady, VERY well done. Mabel gives consistent check'ins. Brad's coaching from the camera, about "Remember the forward diagonal right-side step" when she is wide" is excellent. The distractions are GREAT..wind howling, bitter 20-degree weather, Tessa and Dean (is that right?) in the background, playing, and Kimber 'setting the GOOD example' are outstanding. AND, that last AS? PHENOMENAL Alice!!! PASS 100%
Sit/Stay - Love the distractions with the food. Both Mabel and Kimber look at the food, then look at you, then look at the food, then at you like, "Really?" Excellent eye contact ck'ins with BOTH Mabel and Kimber. And Alice you did a perfect Sit Correction when Mabel's feet were'a'dancing'a'smidge doing this Sit/Stay. Have to chuckle as Tessa in the background, is that her favorite dress right now? I seem to recognize it as her favorite summer dress she wore here and it's the middle of winter-:) Pass 100%
Stand/Stay. THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER as doing the Stand/Stay on an elevated surface helps to stabilize a learning dog better than doing the Stand/Stay on the ground surface. Appreciated your efforts Alice to make sure Mabel's Stack Stand was correct. Did you do the 'set' of her shoulders just before you gave her the "Stay" command and hand signal? That 'set' helps a dog to brace and straighten up into a better Stack Stand. Pass 100%
Down/Stay. Oh my word, it is SOOO cold just watching this EXAM. But having the dogs do the Down on elevated Place Boards makes it easier for a learning dog to remain in correct position. Pass 100%.
