  1. Wow Chris,

This was A REALLY SUPER-DUPER place of unreal HIGH distractions. Cole here, there and everywhere, Angela moving around Sarah videotaping, grocery carts and strange people watching what you and Sarah were doing. And Sarah's ck'ins were consistent, steady as she watched you carefully. All in all, an amazing set of videos Chris!!

PASS 100% on all these EXAMS. Just a few pointers, Chris.

    1) Whenever Sarah's head drops below her shoulders on the Sit/Stay, do go in and correct her as she's thinking about breaking. When doing Stays in public places, leave the leash ON the dog laying on the ground. You never know when you're going to need that safety buffer.
    2) FABULOUS PROOFING OF THE STAYS CHRIS!!!
    3) When heeling off-leash, literally when the leash isn't ON the dog, do have a backup light line dragging, it can be a short as 6', as a Safety Buffer. You never know when you're going to need that safety buffer.
    4) DO NOT RECALL THE DOG FROM A DOWN/STAY. Instead, train your dog that on any Stand or Down STAY, at this point in their training journey, ALWAYS do either a Step Back to Your Dog OR a Return to Your Dog, then EF. Only do the Recall when the dog has been left on a Sit/Stay. Why? This trains a dog to NOT break a Stand or Down/Stay as they know you will come back to them. Really important you do it this way to set Sarah up to know what to expect.

So, so well done Team Sarah!
